I started taking supercharged collagen in spring of 2024, when my old injuries were reactivated and new ones created by the craze of four-weeks long competition in my local gym. I drank collagen in the morning before breakfast and one hour before each climbing session then, and noticed the significant improvements in how I felt after two weeks. Honestly, it took me a while to get used to the flavor of the collagen. It tastes bitter, especially when unflavored. I discovered that when diluted with more water the bitterness reduces. I also opted for flavored options since then and now I am a fan of pomegranate one. Currently I only drink collagen one our before each climbing session or other strenuous work out. I trust that with this additional collagen intake I am less prone to injuries (as I am in my late 30s and have been climbing for under 2 years), and my recovery after each session is faster.
